How Tumblr can make me forget about Posterous
I’m getting excited about blogging again, thanks to newly-discovered express-blogging services that make blogging easier than it has ever been. I have decided to abandon Multiply completely and have been spending less time on Twitter as a result. I am both on Tumblr and Posterous, and I can’t seem to let go of either one of them. But right now, I am more inclined to stick to Tumblr...

Why doesn't Tumblr have a built-in commenting...
Does Tumblr enjoy seeing total noobs trying to figure out how to edit HTML? Disqus is a hassle. Tumblr should come with comments out of the box, and make Disqus an option.

Why implement a dress code?
I don’t understand why my company insists on implementing a dress code. It’s not as if I wouldn’t be able to carry out my duties if I were wearing rubber shoes instead of leather shoes. It’s not as if I would speak better English if I were in slacks instead of jeans. It’s not as if the customer on the other end of the line would sense if my shirt had a collar or if it...

Sometimes, things catch up on me
I’m skipping class as I speak, the Powerpoint presentation is as lame as lame can be, and I haven’t touched a single page of the readings for this afternoon’s exam.  To top it all off, I haven’t had a wink of sleep. Yeah, things can catch up on me sometimes. Good thing I own www.crammr.tumblr.com. Maybe I should post this there. Posted via email from pedrosantosjr...

I can't believe Switch at TechnoHub hasn't gone...
They’re still open! I can’t believe it. Is Switch still hoping the store would make money? People who want iPods would not likely go to TechnoHub, let alone people who want Macbooks.I did not take this picture, by the way. Got this off the net. (I know they don’t allow picture-taking in the store.) Posted via email from pedrosantosjr’s posterous | Comment »

Facebook is now #3 in the Philippines
Last time I checked, Facebook was the fourth most visited site in the Philippines. Now, if you head over to Alexa, you’d see that Facebook has moved up one notch to become the third most visited site in the Philippines, moving past Google Philippines, which is now at fourth place. This makes Facebook as close as it has ever been to overtake Friendster, which currently sits on the second...

So this is microblogging
And I thought that Twitter was microblogging. I’m happy to learn that there seems to be a market for these more-than-140-characters microblogs. First, I signed up for Tumblr, which led to signing up for Posterous, and now I tried to check out Streem as well. They’re all compelling, and I really wish Twitter was more like them. Right now, I am inclined to stick to Tumblr, although...

The traditional first post
Nothing unexpected. Just wanted to say that I am trying out Tumblr for the first time. Good thing my username has not been taken yet. First impressions: Tumblr is so Web 2.0-clean, a la Twitter, Flickr, Hunch, and Delicious. And I think that if this Tumblr thing catches on (with me), I would totally not miss Twitter’s 140-character cap.
